NICOLETTE ANDERSON

Today in Learning Partners, we did a Read Aloud.  That’s when one person reads to a whole group.  That person was my teacher, Mrs. Lewis.

All of our second and third grade partners came to our classroom.  There were over fifty of us in all.  We sat in a circle and my teacher read to us.  It was a story about “Anansi The Spider.”  It was a funny and serious folk tale about a spider that had six kids and how they saved his life. The little kids really liked the story and so did I.

Later, I read aloud to two second graders.  I read to two because a fifth grader was absent.  I didn’t mind and they really seemed to enjoy the story I read.

I always look forward to Monday because it is Learning Partner Day.
